How to understand Color Physics in Chromo

Use Chromo's Physics section to understand hue, wavelength-style interpretation, and non-spectral colors.

The Physics section gives a science-oriented interpretation of the selected color. It connects the color's hue to a simplified wavelength-style view when possible.

Spectral and non-spectral colors

Some colors can be described as spectral-like colors. Purple and magenta-style colors are often treated as non-spectral because they do not map cleanly to a single wavelength.

Neutral colors

Very low-saturation colors, such as grays, may be treated as neutral because hue is not the most meaningful way to describe them.

Use case

This section is best for learning and explanation. Use Accessibility, Preview, and Code sections for implementation decisions.
