What the Physics section shows

Understand wavelength-style, temperature, and luminance information in Chromo.

1 perc olvasási idő132 wordsFrissítve 2026. máj. 20.

The Physics section explains the selected color from a more technical visual perspective. It connects the color to hue, wavelength-style interpretation, warmth, coolness, and perceived brightness.

Cards in this section

  • Wavelength gives an approximate spectral interpretation when the hue maps to a spectral range.
  • Non-spectral colors are labeled when the hue does not map cleanly to a single spectral wavelength.
  • Temperature shows whether the color reads warmer or cooler.
  • Luma or brightness information helps explain how light or dark the color appears.

Neutral colors, very low saturation colors, and some purple or magenta colors may not behave like simple spectral colors.

Best use

Use Physics when you want to understand why a color feels warm, cool, bright, dark, spectral, or non-spectral.
