How to use Chromo color harmonies

Use complementary, analogous, triadic, and split harmonies to build color combinations.

The Harmonies section generates color relationships from the selected color. These are useful when you need supporting colors that are not random.

  • Complementary: colors opposite the base color, useful for strong contrast.
  • Analogous: nearby colors, useful for calm and unified palettes.
  • Triadic: three balanced color points, useful for energetic systems.
  • Split: a softer alternative to a direct complementary pair.

How to choose

Use analogous colors for smooth brand systems. Use complementary or split colors for calls to action. Use triadic colors when the design needs more variety.
