Social icons appear near your Linksy profile content and give visitors a fast way to open your external social profiles.
Username difference
The username in a social icon is the username for that external platform. It is not your Linksy username. Your Linksy username is still the ReadyTools username chosen during registration.
Add a social icon
- Open
/linksy/general. - Use the add social icon control.
- Choose a platform such as Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Discord, Telegram, GitHub, Medium, Spotify, Patreon, Ko-fi, or Buy Me a Coffee.
- Enter the username, handle, channel, or ID required by that platform.
- Add the icon and save your changes.
Choose only useful icons
Add the platforms visitors are most likely to use. Too many icons can make the profile harder to scan.
Test each icon
Open Preview or your public Linksy URL and click each icon. Make sure every icon opens the correct external profile.
