Templates help you start with a useful structure instead of an empty page. They are inserted from the Explore blocks library and can be edited like normal Workspace blocks after insertion.

Open Explore blocks

Open an editable Workspace page.
Type / and choose Explore more, or open the block library from the editor controls.
Look for the Explore blocks panel.
Use the Blocks tab for individual block types or the Templates tab for reusable layouts.

Find a template

Use Search blocks and templates... to search by template name, category, or purpose. Use All to show every available category again after filtering.

Preview and insert

Select a template card to view its Template preview.
Insert the template into the current page.
Edit the inserted text, dates, board cards, embeds, and placeholders.
Select Done when you are finished with the library.

Template examples

Confirmed template names include Trip planner, Campaign production board, Launch room, Engineering spec, Bug report pack, Analytics report, Ops dashboard, Website brief, Knowledge base article, Design handoff, Market watch, Personal command center, Guest WiFi card, Two-column workspace, and Widget sampler.

Tips

Use templates for structure, then rewrite the labels for your own team or project.
Delete blocks you do not need instead of keeping placeholders.
Use Campaign production board or similar board templates when you need a ready task structure.
Use Knowledge base article for support documentation or internal process notes.

Troubleshooting

If the library says No matching items found., shorten your search or switch back to All.
If you cannot insert a template, check that you have edit access.
If a template includes embeds, some embedded services may need valid public URLs to display correctly.
If a template creates more content than expected, delete extra blocks with the block actions menu.

Do templates replace the whole page? No. Templates insert blocks into the current page.

Can I search templates? Yes. Use Search blocks and templates... in Explore blocks.

Can I drag templates? The library supports dragging blocks into the page where drag insertion is available. If dragging is awkward, insert from the template card instead.
