Chromo is ReadyTools' color database and color analysis tool. It helps you search a color, open a detailed color page, copy color formats, build palettes, test contrast, preview UI usage, and export code.
Where to open it
Open Chromo at /chromo. From there you can search by HEX, RGB, HSL, or a known color name, upload an image for color extraction, open the color database, or jump to a random color.
What Chromo is useful for
- Finding a color from a value or name.
- Extracting colors from an uploaded image.
- Understanding a color's formats and conversions.
- Checking shades, tints, tones, harmonies, and generated palettes.
- Testing accessibility and contrast.
- Exporting CSS, SCSS, Tailwind, React Native, SwiftUI, and JSON snippets.
Core idea
Chromo is not only a color picker. It is a color explanation page for each valid color.
