Color Palettes is for combinations. Chromo is for deep inspection of one color. The palette page connects the two so you can move from a palette color into a full color detail page.
Open a color in Chromo
- Open a palette page.
- Find the small circular color swatches below the main palette.
- Click a swatch or open the Chromo modal.
- Choose the color you want to inspect.
- Chromo opens at
/chromo/{hex}without the#symbol.
When to use Chromo
- You need RGB, HSL, CMYK, or other conversions.
- You want color psychology, harmonies, gradients, or accessibility details.
- You need to inspect a single color before assigning it to a UI role.
- You want to compare color variations or generated color data.
Workflow tip
Use Color Palettes to choose the group, then Chromo to validate each important color.
