How to understand the Chromo color converter

The Converter section gives deeper color formats than the quick format cards. It is split into tabs so users can find the format they need for a specific workflow.

Converter tabs

• Web: HEX, RGB, RGBA, HSL, OKLCH, and CSS variable output.
• Print: CMYK with a print note.
• Dev: Android, Swift, integer, and JSON-friendly values.
• Lab: Lab, LCH, and XYZ values for technical color work.

When to use each tab

• Use Web for CSS and interface styling.
• Use Print when preparing a color for print discussions.
• Use Dev for app and platform-specific implementation.
