How to create a color palette

You can create a palette from the Color Palettes page by clicking the add button. You must be signed in before submitting a palette.

Create the palette

1. Open /color-palette.
2. Click the add button.
3. Choose or edit at least two colors.
4. Add a name.
5. Optionally write a description.
6. Select at least one palette category.
7. Select at least one color category.
8. Submit the palette.

What happens after submission

The palette is saved with a generated URL slug based on the name and colors. After a successful submit, you are taken to the new palette page.

Good palette structure

A useful palette usually has one background or base color, one primary color, one accent color, and at least one readable text or contrast color.
