Bringing existing content into Workspace is now much easier.

When you paste structured Markdown, Workspace can recognize the content and convert it into native blocks instead of placing everything inside one large text field.

Headings, paragraphs, lists, tasks, quotes, code blocks, tables, links, and other supported elements are rebuilt using the closest matching Workspace blocks.

The system also works with large Markdown documents exported from tools such as Notion, GitHub, or other editors.

Before anything is converted, Workspace shows what it detected and lets you choose whether to:

  • convert the content into blocks
  • paste it as plain text
  • cancel the import

Existing link detection is also used during the conversion, so supported URLs, links, and embeds continue to behave consistently with normal Workspace pasting.

This makes it much faster to move documentation, notes, project plans, and other structured content into Workspace without rebuilding everything manually.
