The Variations section creates related versions of the selected color. These are useful when one base color needs hover states, borders, backgrounds, or muted alternatives.
Variation rows
- Shades are darker versions of the color.
- Tints are lighter versions of the color.
- Tones are softer or more muted versions of the color.
The colors are generated as smooth LCH-based scales, so the steps usually feel visually even instead of jumping too harshly.
