Favorites are useful for answers you expect to reuse: prompts, plans, summaries, code, checklists, formulas, explanations, and final drafts.
What the Favorites modal shows
- A preview of each saved message.
- The original chat title.
- When the message was favorited.
- Actions to copy, download, remove, or open the message in the original chat.
When to favorite a message
- The answer is a final version you want to keep.
- The answer contains a reusable prompt or workflow.
- The answer summarizes an important file.
- The answer is a code snippet you want to revisit.
- The answer is better than later variants.
Open a favorite in context
Favorites can jump back to the original chat and message. This is helpful when the preview is not enough and you need the surrounding conversation.
Favorite rule
Favorite outcomes, not every useful sentence. A small favorites list is much easier to use.
