ReadyTools Workspace Loads Faster and Handles Large Documents More Smoothly

Opening a workspace and jumping between documents now feels noticeably quicker after the August 7 update. The team focused on removing the pauses that appear when a workspace first loads, when a large document opens, or when you paste a big block of content.

Startup and navigation

Workspace now shows a lightweight skeleton interface immediately while the rest of the application prepares in the background. You can start interacting before every feature has finished loading. Navigation between pages is also faster because the next document can begin loading before you click it, and repeated visits pull content from the browser's local cache so the page appears almost instantly while the latest version syncs silently.

Editing large documents

The editor does less unnecessary work while you type. Pasting large pieces of text and converting Markdown no longer block the interface, and scrolling stays smooth even when a document grows. Cover images and other key page elements now load with higher priority, so pages look complete sooner.

Code splitting

Features that are not needed right away are loaded only when you actually use them. This reduces the initial payload, cuts wait time, and leaves more resources for the work you are doing.
