- Open the file options menu and choose download, or open the preview modal.
- Click the download action.
- Vault requests a safe download URL.
- Your browser downloads the file using a sanitized filename.
Vault uses temporary access URLs for private files. Public files can also be downloaded from their public preview page when allowed.
Tip
If download fails, refresh the preview or reload Vault so a new access URL can be generated.
