How to create a Vault folder

Create folders to organize Vault files.

Open /vault/storage.
Click the New menu in the sidebar or the New folder item in the folder grid.
Enter a folder name.
Confirm the creation.
Vault refreshes and shows the new folder.

When you create a folder from inside another folder, Vault uses the current folder as the parent path.

Tip

Use short, clear folder names so breadcrumbs and the sidebar tree stay easy to scan.
