Workspace Sites publishes Workspace pages as public read-only sites. After a site exists, use the Space Sites hub to review published sites, copy public links, change visibility, customize the site, and unpublish it.

Open Space Sites

  1. Open Workspace.
  2. In the sidebar, choose Space Sites.
  3. Use the Space Sites tab to manage published sites.
  4. Use the Analytics tab to read site performance.

Read the Space Sites overview

The overview shows Published sites, Views, Unique users, and View growth. Each site card can also show Views, Unique users, Template copies, and Pages for the selected range.

Search sites

Use the Search sites field to filter published sites by site name, public slug, or description. If nothing matches, the hub shows No sites match your search.

Copy and open a site

  • Choose Copy link to copy the public URL.
  • Open the actions menu and choose Open site to view the public page.
  • Choose Customize site to edit public site settings for an existing site.

Change visibility

VisibilityWhat it means
PublicAnyone can open the site, and search engines may index it.
UnlistedAnyone with the link can open it, but it is hidden from search engines and public listings.
Access codeVisitors enter the generated access code before viewing the site.

Use access codes

When a site uses Access code, ReadyTools shows the new code once. Use Copy code, Download code, and Done from the access code screen. Store the code before closing the screen.

For an existing protected site, use Generate new code to replace the old code, or Remove access code to remove protected access and make the site unlisted.

Unpublish a site

  1. Open Space Sites.
  2. Find the site card.
  3. Open Site actions.
  4. Choose Unpublish site.
  5. Confirm the action.

The confirmation says: Remove the public version? The editor content will not be deleted. Unpublishing removes the public version while keeping the Workspace page in the editor.

Plan requirements

Troubleshooting

  • If the hub says No published sites yet., open a Workspace page, select Share, switch to Publish, and publish it first.
  • If Customize site is disabled, check your role and plan.
  • If a visibility change creates an access code, copy or download the code before closing the screen.
  • If a public link shows old content, open the page, select Share, switch to Publish, and use Update published Space.
