How to rename, delete, and search Lara Chats

Keep Lara Chat history organized by giving chats clear titles, searching old conversations, and deleting chats you no longer need.

Lara Chat automatically creates titles from your first message, but you can rename chats later. Clear titles make it much easier to find old work.

Rename a chat

Open the sidebar.
Find the chat in the list.
Open the chat options menu.
Choose Rename.
Enter a clear title and save.

Delete a chat

Use Delete when a chat is no longer useful or contains information you do not want to keep. Deleting a chat removes it from your Lara Chat history.

Search chats

Use the search field in the sidebar to find previous conversations by title. This works best when you rename important chats with project-specific words.

Organization tip

Rename important chats immediately after the first useful answer. Do not wait until the sidebar becomes hard to scan.
