Sharing is useful, but it changes the audience of your content. Before creating a Lara Chat share link, review the conversation for private information, files, names, credentials, internal plans, or anything that should stay private.
What the share warning means
The share modal warns you to review the chat before sharing. Your name and messages added after sharing stay private, and uploaded files are not shared for privacy reasons. However, content already visible in selected messages may still contain sensitive text.
Before creating a link
- Remove or avoid private names, tokens, passwords, or customer details.
- Use partial sharing when only one answer needs to be shared.
- Check generated images or file-derived text in the assistant answer.
- Regenerate or rewrite an answer if it includes details you do not want public.
When not to share
Do not share a chat publicly when it includes confidential contracts, personal data, unreleased product strategy, private code, or sensitive client material.
Sharing rule
If a sentence would be unsafe in a public link, do not include it in a shared Lara Chat.
