Your Linksy bio is the short text shown under your avatar and ReadyTools username. It should explain who you are, what you offer, or what visitors should do next.
Username note
Changing your Linksy bio does not change your username. Your Linksy username is the ReadyTools username you selected during registration.
Open the General editor
Sign in and open the Linksy General editor at /linksy/general. This is where your bio, links, pages, social icons, and main Linksy content are edited.
Edit the bio text
- Click the bio area under your avatar and username.
- Write or replace the bio text in the modal.
- Keep it short and clear. Linksy supports up to 150 characters for the bio.
- Use at least one meaningful sentence if you want the setup checklist to mark the bio step as complete.
- Save the bio inside the modal.
Save the profile changes
After closing the bio modal, click the main Save button on the General editor. This writes the updated bio to your Linksy profile data.
Preview the result
Use Preview to check how the bio looks on the public page. If the text feels too long on mobile, shorten it before sharing your Linksy URL.
