A Linksy profile is connected to your ReadyTools account. You do not create a separate Linksy username. The username you choose during ReadyTools registration becomes your profile username across ReadyTools, including Linksy.

Important

Your public Linksy URL uses your ReadyTools username: https://lnksy.co/your_username. The same profile is also available on ReadyTools at /linksy/your_username.

Create your ReadyTools account

Start on the signup page. When you register with email, choose your username there. This username is saved to your ReadyTools profile and is used by Linksy automatically.

  • Use lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores.
  • Do not use spaces or separate words with multiple underscores.
  • Choose carefully, because this username is your public identity across ReadyTools.

Open the Linksy editor

After signing in, open Linksy and select the main start button. If you are already logged in, it opens the Linksy editor at /linksy/general. If you are not logged in, sign in or create an account first.

Check your public URL

In the Linksy sidebar, ReadyTools shows your share URL as lnksy.co/{username}. Use the copy button or QR option from the sidebar when you are ready to share it.

Add your bio

Click the bio area under your avatar and username. Write a short bio that tells visitors who you are and what they should do next. The setup guide expects a meaningful bio, so use at least one clear sentence.

Click Add new link and choose a block from the modal. You can search for a platform, add a regular URL, select a popular option, or use a quick setup bundle.

  1. Choose the link or block type you want to add.
  2. Edit the new block title so visitors understand what it opens.
  3. Paste the destination URL or configure the block settings.
  4. Keep the link visible if you want it to appear on the public profile.
  5. Repeat the process until your first page has at least two useful links.

Add a social icon

Use the plus button in the social icon row to add a social profile. The username requested here is the username for that external platform, such as Instagram, TikTok, X, GitHub, or YouTube. It is not a second Linksy username.

Save your changes

Click Save after editing your bio and links. Linksy stores the page content in your Linksy profile data, while your avatar and main username continue to come from your ReadyTools profile.

Preview and customize

Use Preview to check the public page layout. To change the profile avatar, open your public profile settings. To change colors, background, and visual style, use the Linksy appearance page.

Share your Linksy profile

Once the page looks right, share https://lnksy.co/{username} in your social bios, website, email signature, videos, posts, or QR code. Visitors will see the profile attached to your ReadyTools username.

Quick checklist

A clean first Linksy profile has your ReadyTools username, a short bio, at least two visible links, one social icon, saved changes, and a tested public URL.
