What it does

Embed an audio file or track from Spotify, Soundcloud, etc.

When to use it

  • Add files, images, audio, video, or PDFs to a page.
  • Keep source material beside notes and tasks.
  • Make reference material easy for collaborators to open.

How to add it

  1. Open a Workspace page where you have edit access.
  2. Type / or open Explore blocks.
  3. Choose Audio.
  4. Fill in the content, link, file, or settings shown by the block.
  5. Use Block Settings when the block exposes additional options.

Tips

  • Check whether the media or file should remain private before publishing a Workspace Site.
  • Check file visibility before sharing or publishing.
  • Add captions when context matters.
  • Use Vault-backed files only when the people viewing the page should access them.

Limitations

  • You need Editor or Admin access to add or change this block.
  • Viewer access allows reading and commenting where comments are enabled, but not editing block content.
  • If the block depends on an external file, link, or service, that source must be accessible to the people viewing the page.
