Workspace pages are built from blocks. A block can be a simple line of text, a heading, a task list, a table, a media embed, a Board, or a widget.

What blocks are

Blocks let you mix different kinds of content in one page. Add them with /, with Explore more, or from Explore blocks. Some blocks support Block Settings, captions, metadata, comments, or resizing.

Text and writing blocks

Block	Use it for
`Text`	Normal paragraphs and notes.
`Heading 1`, `Heading 2`, `Heading 3`	Page structure and collapsible sections.
`Quote`	Quoted text, decisions, or highlighted statements.
`Callout`	Warnings, context, reminders, and important notes.
`Code Block`	Code snippets or formatted technical text.
`Divider`	Separating page sections.

Task and decision blocks

Use To-do List for simple checklists.
Use Bulleted List or Numbered List for structured notes.
Use Quick poll for quick feedback or voting.
Use Board for draggable groups, cards, assignees, priority, start dates, and due dates.
Use inline buttons such as Reaction button, Bookmark button, and Mention person when you need action-style elements inside content.

Media and file blocks

Use Image, File, Video, Audio, and PDF Viewer for uploaded or linked media. Some media blocks can use Vault files, uploads, drag and drop, or pasted links depending on the block.

Data and structure blocks

Use Table for structured rows and columns.
Use Table of Contents to help readers navigate a long page.
Use 2 Columns, 3 Columns, or 4 Columns for side-by-side layouts.
Use Math Equation for formulas.
Use Chart for visual data.
Use Mermaid diagrams for diagrams written in Mermaid syntax.

Embeds and widgets

Workspace includes embed blocks such as Website, Iframe, Calendar, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Maps, GitHub Repo, GitHub Issue / PR, Loom Recording, X Post, CodeSandbox, StackBlitz, TradingView, and Weather. Use Iframe for a sandboxed HTTPS web page.

Can every block go inside a Board card? No. Board-related blocks, Table of Contents, and some layout blocks are blocked inside Board cards.
