Workspace Update: Smarter Recovery, Stronger Protection, and Even Faster Loading

Following yesterday's major Workspace update, we've continued improving the editor with another round of reliability and performance enhancements focused on document recovery, loading speed, and long-term stability.

One of the biggest improvements in this release is a redesigned document recovery pipeline. Workspace can now safely recognize and restore a much wider range of legacy document formats, making older pages significantly more reliable without requiring manual migration.

We've also introduced a new validation layer before document content is loaded into the editor. Instead of risking accidental overwrites, Workspace now verifies document integrity before allowing changes, helping protect existing work even during unexpected interruptions or synchronization issues.

The Workspace loading process has been optimized even further. Internal document processing, synchronization, and initialization have been streamlined to reduce startup time and improve responsiveness, especially when opening larger documents.

Real-time collaboration has also received important improvements. The connection flow between the editor and the Workspace synchronization service has been modernized with stronger authentication and more reliable session handling, providing a more stable editing experience across devices.

Behind the scenes, we've continued refining the Workspace infrastructure by improving document parsing, synchronization recovery, and compatibility with previous document structures. These improvements reduce unnecessary processing while making the editor more resilient to unexpected edge cases.
