Workspace search helps you move across pages without manually scanning the sidebar. It searches page information and page content after you type enough characters.

  1. Open Workspace.
  2. Click Search... in the sidebar, or press Ctrl/Cmd+K.
  3. Use the Search your workspace... field.
  4. Select a result to open it.

Search effectively

  • Use at least two characters. Very short searches may not run.
  • Search for a page title, a phrase from the page, or a specific term such as a customer name or project code.
  • If a result list is too broad, add another word from the page title or content.
  • Rename important pages from Untitled to names people can search for.

Use recent searches

The search modal can show Recent searches stored on your device. Use Clear when you want to remove the recent search list from that browser.

  • If you see No pages or contents found., check spelling and try a longer query.
  • If a shared page does not appear, confirm that you still have access to that page.
  • If content was just edited, wait for the page to sync or use Force Sync from the page options menu before searching again.
  • If the sidebar is collapsed on desktop, expand it or use the keyboard shortcut instead.
