Workspace: Wide Board Mode, Faster Tables & Cleaner Shared Pages

We've shipped another Workspace update focused on making large boards easier to use, improving table performance, and cleaning up the experience for shared pages.

🖥️ Board Block: New Wide Mode

The Board block can now be expanded into a dedicated wide layout, giving it significantly more horizontal space when you need it.

Instead of being constrained by the regular document width, the board can now become the primary focus of the page, making large Kanban workflows, planning boards, and project management much more comfortable to use.

⚡ Major Table Performance Improvements

We've made significant improvements to the Table block to make editing feel much smoother.

Dragging to add new rows or columns is now far more responsive. During the drag, Workspace no longer continuously rebuilds the entire table. Instead, only a lightweight visual indicator updates while you're dragging, and the actual rows or columns are created only after you release the mouse.

The result is:

• Much smoother dragging
• Reduced editor lag
• Better performance on large tables
• A more responsive editing experience

We also fixed an issue where table interactions could accidentally trigger browser text selection during drag operations, which could cause unnecessary slowdowns inside the editor.

🔗 Cleaner Shared Pages

Shared Workspace pages now provide a much cleaner viewing experience.

When someone opens a shared page, they no longer see actions that aren't available to them, such as upload, delete, or other editing controls. Since shared pages are designed for viewing rather than editing, the interface now only displays actions that are actually relevant.

This makes shared pages simpler, less confusing, and much easier to navigate.
