Color Palettes is for combinations. Chromo is for deep inspection of one color. The palette page connects the two so you can move from a palette color into a full color detail page.

Open a color in Chromo

  1. Open a palette page.
  2. Find the small circular color swatches below the main palette.
  3. Click a swatch or open the Chromo modal.
  4. Choose the color you want to inspect.
  5. Chromo opens at /chromo/{hex} without the # symbol.

When to use Chromo

  • You need RGB, HSL, CMYK, or other conversions.
  • You want color psychology, harmonies, gradients, or accessibility details.
  • You need to inspect a single color before assigning it to a UI role.
  • You want to compare color variations or generated color data.

Workflow tip

Use Color Palettes to choose the group, then Chromo to validate each important color.
