How to customize your Linksy social preview image

Create a custom OG image for your Linksy profile so shared links look better on social platforms and messaging apps.

The Linksy OG image is the preview image that can appear when someone shares your Linksy URL in a chat, social post, or other platform that reads link previews.

Open the OG Image Builder

Go to the Linksy appearance area and open the OG image builder. The editor loads your username, display name, avatar, bio, and current saved preview image when available.

Choose a source

  • Generated design: build a preview image from background, text, avatar, colors, layout, and overlay settings.
  • Vault image: choose an existing public image from Vault and use it as the preview source.
  • Public URL: paste a safe public image URL when you already host the preview somewhere else.

Tune the design

Use layout, font, title source, subtitle source, avatar visibility, text color, overlay strength, zoom, offset, opacity, blur, image fit, and grain to create a preview that is readable at small sizes.

Save or download

Generated OG images can be saved to Vault and attached to your Linksy profile. You can also download an export when you need the image for another campaign.

Important

A social platform may cache previews. If you update the OG image, some apps may need time before they show the new preview.
