Your background image is part of your Linksy appearance settings. A good background supports the profile content without making the buttons or bio hard to read.

Open Appearance

Sign in and open /linksy/appearance. This page controls the visual style of your Linksy profile, including background, colors, button style, text style, and layout details.

Choose a background source

  • Built-in backgrounds: choose one of the included Linksy background images.
  • Vault: select an image you already store in ReadyTools Vault.
  • Upload: upload a new image from your device.

Upload and crop

Uploaded JPEG, PNG, and WebP images can be cropped for a vertical Linksy layout. Linksy also supports GIF uploads, but animated GIF behavior may depend on your plan.

Save the appearance

  1. Pick or upload the background image.
  2. Check the preview on desktop and mobile width.
  3. Adjust text color or button style if the page is hard to read.
  4. Click Save on the Appearance page.

Readability first

Avoid backgrounds that visually compete with your buttons. Visitors should understand the page and tap the right link immediately.
