The profile banner appears at the top of your profile and can make your account more personal. This guide will show you how to upload and crop an image for your banner.
Uploading a Profile Banner
- Log in to your ReadyTools account.
- Open the Settings menu.
- Click on the Public tab in the left-hand menu.
- Click the Upload Banner button.
- Select an image from your computer.
- After uploading, the cropping modal will open automatically.
Cropping the Image
In the modal, you can easily move the image with your mouse and use the Zoom slider to zoom in or out. The image will always fit nicely within the 1120×300 frame, ensuring it looks great.
- Use the mouse to position the image.
- Use the Zoom slider to zoom in or out.
- The percentage value helps you adjust the zoom more precisely.
Save or Cancel
If you’re satisfied with the crop, click the Save button, and the system will set the banner. If you don’t want to apply the changes, click the Cancel button.
Important Information
Do not upload images that violate the terms of use! It’s prohibited to upload copyrighted, offensive, violent, obscene, hateful, or personally identifiable images. Only use images you have the right to use and that comply with community guidelines.
