Your email address is crucial for your account’s security. It’s used for notifications and logging in. If you change it, you’ll need to use the new email address to log in going forward.
Where to Find It?
Open the Settings page and click on the Settings tab in the left-hand menu. Here, you’ll find the option to change your email address.
Changing Your Email Address Step by Step
- Enter your new email address in the provided field.
- Click the Save button.
- You’ll first receive a confirmation message to your current (old) email address.
- Open the message and click the approval link inside.
- Once done, the system will send a second confirmation message to your new email address.
- Open the message sent to your new email and confirm the change there as well.
- Your new email address will only be activated after both confirmations.
Important Information
- Changing your email address is a two-step process: you must confirm both the old and new addresses.
- If you don’t approve the change on your old email, no confirmation will be sent to the new address.
- If you don’t approve the change on the new email, the change won’t take effect, and your old email will remain active.
- After the change, you must always log in with your new email address.
