Color Lab is an advanced experimentation area on a Chromo color page. It is useful when you want to adjust or explore a color more interactively than a fixed palette allows.

What it is for

  • Testing variations of the selected color.
  • Comparing adjusted results visually.
  • Copying the resulting HEX value.
  • Exploring color behavior before using it in a design system.

How to use it

  1. Open a color detail page at /chromo/{hex}.
  2. Use the sticky navigation and open Lab.
  3. Adjust the available controls or tabs.
  4. Copy a generated result when it looks right.
  5. Check the new color in Accessibility and Preview before using it.
