1 min read106 wordsUpdated May 20, 2026

The Accessibility section checks whether the selected color is readable on white and black backgrounds, then shows simulated color vision differences.

WCAG cards

  • The contrast ratio shows the difference between the selected color and the background.
  • Small text checks use the stricter normal text thresholds.
  • Large text checks use the large or bold text thresholds.
  • AA and AAA indicators show whether each test passes.

Vision simulation cards

  • Protanopia preview.
  • Deuteranopia preview.
  • Tritanopia preview.
  • Achromatopsia preview.

Best use

If a color fails contrast, use it for decoration, borders, or large surfaces instead of small text.
