The Lara Chat sidebar is the main navigation area for chat history. It helps you move between conversations without losing your current workflow.

What the sidebar includes

  • New chat button for starting a fresh conversation.
  • Chat list with previous conversations.
  • Search field for finding chats by title.
  • Refresh button for reloading the chat list.
  • Favorites entry for saved messages.
  • Plan badge showing Free, Go, Plus, or Max access.
  • Settings and subscription links from the profile area.

Collapsed and expanded states

On desktop, the sidebar can collapse into an icon rail or expand into a wider list. On mobile, it opens as a drawer so the chat remains usable on smaller screens.

When to start a new chat

Start a new chat when the topic changes, when you want a clean context, or when the previous conversation could confuse the next request.

Sidebar habit

Keep one chat per project or topic. It makes history, favorites, and sharing easier later.
