Understand the quick format cards below the Chromo hero.

1 min read120 wordsUpdated May 20, 2026

The color formats grid gives you the most common technical values for the selected color without opening the full converter section.

Cards in this section

  • RGB shows the red, green, and blue channel values used on screens.
  • HSL shows hue, saturation, and lightness, which is easier for many design adjustments.
  • CMYK shows a print-oriented cyan, magenta, yellow, and key black approximation.
  • Luminance shows the relative brightness value used by contrast calculations.

Each card is clickable. Clicking a card copies that value to your clipboard.

Best use

Use this grid when you need a quick value for design handoff, CSS work, or comparing how bright a color is.
